Green THHN/THWN-2 grounding wire provides a clearly identified equipment grounding conductor (EGC) for installation in conduit and raceways. The dedicated green insulation satisfies NEC color-coding requirements for grounding conductors, ensuring fast, unambiguous identification during installation and inspection.
Built to the same 600V, 90°C dry / 75°C wet specification as standard THHN, this copper grounding wire is available solid and stranded from 14 AWG through 1/0 AWG. It carries fault current safely back to the source, bonding metal enclosures, equipment frames, and raceways per NEC Article 250.
